Polished concrete is a multi-step process using diamond grinding equipment to cut and refine concrete surfaces to a desired level of shine. The concrete is treated with a chemical densifier and polished to create a durable, attractive, low-maintenance floor with a mirror-like finish.

Polished concrete offers exceptional durability, low maintenance costs, resistance to tire marks and stains, improved light reflectivity (reducing lighting costs), no need for waxing or coatings, and a modern aesthetic. It's also a sustainable choice since it uses your existing slab.

Most concrete floors can be polished, but results vary based on the concrete's age, composition, and condition. Older or damaged concrete may need repairs before polishing. New concrete typically needs to cure 28+ days. We assess every floor before recommending polishing.

We offer multiple sheen levels: flat/matte (ground but not polished), low sheen (satin finish), medium sheen (semi-gloss), and high gloss (mirror-like reflection). The level you choose depends on aesthetics and how much light reflection you want.

A typical concrete polishing project takes 2-5 days depending on floor size, condition, and desired finish level. Larger projects or floors requiring significant repair work may take longer. We'll provide a detailed timeline after assessing your floor.

Polished concrete is very low maintenance. Daily dust mopping and periodic damp mopping with a neutral cleaner is typically all that's needed. Unlike waxed floors, polished concrete doesn't require stripping or recoating. We can set up a maintenance schedule if desired.
