Start with responsibility
A veterinary plan should assign each room, surface, task, and handoff to a named role. Bring your current checklist or practice procedures to the walkthrough so we can build around them.
The practice keeps its infection-control program, patient-risk decisions, approved products, between-patient work, equipment processing, isolation decisions, and regulated-waste duties. Busy B handles only the environmental janitorial tasks written into the agreement.
The AAHA responsibility-assignment worksheet illustrates why clinics should name an owner for each surface and device. We use that principle to make the contractor handoff clear.
Veterinary rooms require different decisions. We record what is included, excluded, or retained by clinic staff.
Entries, waiting areas, reception points, approved glass, seating surroundings, and public-facing floors.
Administrative offices, corridors, approved break areas, employee restrooms, and other written support zones.
Fixtures, dispensers, partitions, touchpoints, floors, supplies, and waste tasks included in the agreement.
Only the exact rooms, surfaces, products, methods, access rules, and handoffs approved during the walkthrough.
Your proposal confirms the zones, tasks, products, frequency, and responsible party.
Compare commercial cleaning by facility type for operations outside the veterinary scope.
Exam rooms, treatment and prep areas, surgery, laboratory, radiology, kennels, wards, recovery, laundry, and isolation zones require separate decisions. No crossover work is assumed.
The clinic identifies the surface, approved product, method, access rule, PPE need, and escalation procedure for any proposed contractor task.
Sharps, specimens, medications, animal remains, regulated waste, instrument sterilization, outbreak decontamination, and isolation turnover remain clinic-controlled unless separately established in writing.
The checklist covers only the rooms and surfaces assigned to Busy B. Each item names the task, method limits, frequency, access rule, and clinic handoff.
Any contractor task near animal-contact or clinical work appears as a separate line item. The clinic supplies the governing procedure and retains the clinical decision.
Unknowns become scope decisions
We review the rooms, approved procedures, surface materials, condition, access, schedule, and current division of work. That visit gives us the information needed for a custom plan.
The clinic provides its product labels, manufacturer restrictions, task frequencies, access rules, and responsibility assignments. We document the intended room, surface, application limits, dilution, and labeled contact time for any approved product use.
We do not publish a generic chemical recipe or treat one disinfectant as suitable for every veterinary use site. The exact method follows the product label and the clinic’s approved protocol.
Gather your room list and current responsibility assignments before the visit.
Plan Your Clinic WalkthroughBusy B can coordinate the approved facility services through one point of contact. The walkthrough separates recurring tasks, periodic projects, and repair conditions before they are priced.
Approved waiting, office, staff, restroom, corridor, floor, glass, supply, and waste tasks can be organized as routine commercial janitorial.
We evaluate resilient floors, tile, grout, carpet, coatings, and other installed materials. When a finish or material needs work beyond the routine scope, review the applicable commercial floor-care options.
The account can use room-level criteria, findings, photos, corrective status, and agreed reporting for the tasks Busy B owns.
Our broader healthcare environmental services provide the facility-cleaning framework. Veterinary clinical decisions still remain with the practice.

Quality checks tied to the agreement
Busy B has proprietary APPA-aligned inspection software for commercial-cleanliness checks. For a veterinary account, the setup follows the approved environmental task list instead of a generic clinical checklist.
The system can organize rooms, scored criteria, findings, photos, corrective status, and reports. We confirm the exact inspection cadence and reporting access during the account setup.
These checks measure visible custodial conditions and assigned work. They do not certify the clinic, verify pathogen control, provide AAHA accreditation, or replace the practice’s infection-control review.
Recurring residue, discoloration, or odor can point to a surface or building condition. We identify what we can see and keep the recommendation within the approved scope.
Cracked grout, failed finish, damaged coatings, porous materials, and deteriorated upholstery may need restoration, repair, or replacement.
The source may involve a drain, enclosure, laundry process, plumbing, ventilation, or another condition outside routine janitorial work.
The clinic’s written stop-and-escalate procedure governs bodily fluids, infectious conditions, sharps, unknown materials, and other excluded hazards.
The quote follows the facility, not a generic package. We use the site visit to make every important decision visible before service begins.
We review room mix, square footage if available, floors, conditions, access, desired schedule, and current task assignments.
We document approved and excluded zones, clinic duties, contractor duties, product controls, and escalation rules.
We prepare the custom scope, frequency, timing, quality-check approach, specialty work, and quote for review.
Clear boundaries help practice managers compare proposals with confidence.
The practice keeps control of clinical decisions, between-patient animal-contact work, isolation or outbreak procedures, instrument processing, and regulated waste. Any crossover task needs a written assignment supported by the clinic’s procedure.
Reception, waiting, administrative, staff, restroom, corridor, and floor areas are practical starting points. The in-person walkthrough determines the exact rooms and tasks included.
The veterinary practice assigns that responsibility in its infection-control procedures. Busy B does not claim between-patient turnover as a default janitorial task.
They are not automatically included. We discuss each zone during the walkthrough and document any approved contractor task, product restriction, PPE need, access rule, and stop procedure.
No. APPA-aligned inspection can measure agreed custodial work and visible conditions. It does not provide AAHA accreditation or verify a clinic’s infection-control program.
Tell us about the practice, and we will review the approved rooms and responsibilities with your team. You will receive a custom scope built for your Las Vegas facility.
